The Quit Now: My Quit Buddy is a personalised interactive app with quit tips, daily motivational messages and countdown to quitting reminders. The user records their goals in pictures, words or audio messages. There is also a panic button for cravings that provides a range of distractions, such as games, reminders of the health benefits of quitting or to call the Quitline or a nominated friend from the app.
You can program danger times for My Quit Buddy to send you a note, like when you are waiting for the bus. You can also keep track of how many cigarettes you have not smoked, how many grams of tar you have not inhaled, how much money you have saved each day and how many days you have been smoke free.
